Position Summary
The Physical Therapist Assistant provides physical therapy services to patients in the home as prescribed by the attending physician and under the supervision of a Licensed Physical Therapist. Provides individualized skilled care as indicated. Assists staff Physical Therapists with patient treatments. Administers physical therapy treatment in the home (per physician orders) within scope of practice. Assists patients in use of prosthetic, orthotics, and assistive devices and with transfers and bed mobility. Position is based in Kenansville, N.C.
Minimum Requirements
Licensure as Physical Therapist Assistant by the N.C. Board of Physical Therapy Examiners
Zero to two years related experience
Must maintain a valid North Carolina drivers license or be licensed in the state of residence and maintain the hospital required insurance limits.
American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
Associate Degree- or higher.
