Speech-Language Therapist / Pathologist

Boyertown Area School District is seeking an a Speech-Language Therapist at the district level. Some of the essential duties and responsibilities are:

• Assesses and develops a curriculum that can help build communication skills
• Performs small group and individual therapy based on needs and screenings
• Identification of students at risk for later communication problems
• Daily documentation of services and outcomes and management of caseloads, services and scheduling
• Collaborates and consults with professionals, providers, and teachers

The Speech-Language Therapist shall possess the following:

1. Masters degree from an accredited college or university required.
2. Valid PA Department of Education School Speech-Language Pathologist PK-12 Certificate.
3. Strong skill set in human relations, communications, problem solving and organization.
4. Demonstrated skills in analyzing and using data for decision making.
