Job Description
In a vibrant educational setting in Saint Joseph, LA, an opportunity exists for a dedicated professional to provide essential speech-language services to students. This contract position for the 2025-2026 school year involves working full-time, 37.5 hours per week, within a K-12 environment, focusing on the diverse needs of students.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech therapy services to students,
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine student needs,
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs),
- Attend and actively participate in IEP meetings,
- Monitor and report on student progress.
Qualifications:
- Masters Degree in Speech Language Pathology,
- Valid Louisiana Speech Language Pathologist License (LA SLP-CCC),
- Strong background in pediatric speech therapy,
- Experience with teletherapy is a plus,
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educational staff and families.
