Job Description


In a vibrant educational setting in Saint Joseph, LA, an opportunity exists for a dedicated professional to provide essential speech-language services to students. This contract position for the 2025-2026 school year involves working full-time, 37.5 hours per week, within a K-12 environment, focusing on the diverse needs of students.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech therapy services to students,
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine student needs,
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs),
  • Attend and actively participate in IEP meetings,
  • Monitor and report on student progress.

Qualifications:

  • Masters Degree in Speech Language Pathology,
  • Valid Louisiana Speech Language Pathologist License (LA SLP-CCC),
  • Strong background in pediatric speech therapy,
  • Experience with teletherapy is a plus,
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with educational staff and families.
