Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience working with students, preferably in a school setting
- Familiarity with AAC/PEC systems is preferred
- Ability to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to professional development and best practices in therapy
Location: Fairfield, California
Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for students with speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to facilitate effective communication strategies
- Deliver direct therapy services to a diverse student population, ranging from preschool to 12th grade
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy techniques as required
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided and student progress
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to a supportive learning environment
