Recreation Specialist

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Weave Cascade Christian Schools' guiding principles into all endeavors
• Assist with developing, planning, scheduling, and implementing a variety of sports activities and special events
• Assist with developing positive discipline, pro-social behavior, and successful individual and group management policies incorporating 3R's
• Assist with coordinating elementary school athletics
• Maintain best practices in all areas of youth sports and THRIVE Adventure Summer programming
• Assist with supervising and the evaluation of coaching staff, referees, and staff when needed
• Assist with budgeting and expense tracking
• Assist with parent volunteers

REQUIREMENTS:

• Christian Role model in attitude, speech, and action
• Agree with Cascade Christian Schools' Teaching Statement and Statement of Faith
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Experience in sports management, community recreation, or related field
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with all constituent groups
• Ability to effectively lead all volunteers
• Ability to manage time effectively
• Able to attend devotions, faculty meetings, after-school, weekend and evening functions
• Ability to lift 50lbs
• Must pass a background check clearance
• First-aid and CPR certified or willing to receive and pass certification training

START DATE:

June 4, 2025

HOURS:

Full-time - 40 Hours a week Monday through Friday (Some Saturdays)

SALARY RANGE:

$19.25 - $22.50 (DOE)
