This contract position is designed for individuals dedicated to supporting K-12 students through individualized therapy plans during the extended school year. Location: Hazleton, PA Schedule: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, 8:45 AM to 12:15 PM, starting June 24, 2025, and concluding August 1, 2025. (Note: The week of July 4th will be off.) Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess students' physical abilities and needs. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with students' IEPs (Individualized Education Programs). Provide both direct and indirect therapy services to students in K-12 settings. Collaborate with educators, parents, and other school professionals to support students' physical development. Monitor and document students' progress, making necessary adjustments to therapy plans. Participate in IEP meetings, offering recommendations for adaptive equipment and assistive devices. Qualifications: Active Physical Therapist licensure through the Pennsylvania Department of State. Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy. Experience in pediatric or school-based settings is preferred but not required. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
