A Day in the Life
As a Respiratory Therapist at HOTI, you'll provide expert care for children and young adults with breathing and cardiopulmonary disorders. Under Respiratory Leadership, you'll perform treatments and diagnostic procedures to improve residents' quality of life.
But your role extends beyond clinical care. You'll have the unique opportunity to join residents on fun outings, such as ice skating, attending the movie theater, and other recreational activities, building meaningful connections that enrich both their lives and yours.
How This Position Contributes to Our Mission
Deliver Exceptional Care: Administer treatments, manage ventilators, and perform pulmonary procedures to improve resident outcomes.
Build Community: Engage in activities with residents that foster joy, connection, and personal growth.
Collaborate with Excellence: Coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams and participate in Pulmonary Rounds to ensure optimal resident support.
Promote Learning: Teach and support residents and medical trainees to develop skills and understanding.
Respiratory Therapist Skills and Qualifications
Valid Respiratory Therapist license in Kentucky.
National Board of Respiratory Care certification.
Active BLS certification.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Shift Options
Choose the schedule that works for you:
30 or 36 hours per week.
Self-Scheduling
Day shifts: 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM.
Night shifts: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM.
Bonuses available for picking up Critical Need Shifts
