Massage Therapist (M/F)

Our esteemed client is seeking a highly skilled and professional Massage Therapist to provide therapeutic bodywork services in a private household setting for an initial two-week period, with the potential for extension. The ideal candidate will be a certified massage therapist with extensive experience delivering a range of massage modalities, including deep tissue, sports, and restorative techniques. This temporary yet important role calls for a calm, intuitive, and client-focused individual who excels in creating a relaxing, restorative experience. Responsibilities Perform customized massage therapy sessions tailored to the client's physical condition, preferences, and wellness goals Evaluate muscular condition and identify areas of tension, pain, or restricted motion Utilize a variety of techniques, including but not limited to Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point, and sports massage Maintain a serene and professional treatment space, whether within a designated room or portable setup Ensure strict hygiene and sanitation protocols are followed before and after each session Keep accurate and confidential client records regarding preferences, injuries, and treatment history Communicate effectively with the client to ensure satisfaction and adjust treatments as needed Provide recommendations for self-care, stretching, and wellness practices between sessions Maintain confidentiality and uphold the highest level of professionalism at all times Requirements Minimum of 5 years of experience as a licensed Massage Therapist in a private or luxury environment Valid certification and licensure to practice massage therapy in the state of New Jersey Proficiency in multiple massage modalities with the ability to tailor techniques to individual needs Exceptional interpersonal skills and a calm, professional presence Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and discretion in a private household setting Flexible schedule with a willingness to accommodate client preferences and last-minute changes Current CPR and First Aid certification preferred Work conditions Title: Massage Therapist (M/F) Position to be filled: June 16th, 2025 Workplace: Edison, New Jersey Employment contract: 2 weeks with the possibility of extension Working hours: Flexibility with days and hours needed
