The Occupational TherapyAssistant performs his/her duties in accordance with policies and proceduresand the established plan of care.-Responsible for following all state specific laws governing the provision ofoccupational therapy in home care, to follow the treatment set only asdefined by the supervising OT.-Following the plan of care, instructs and aids patients in evidence-basedtreatment within the scope of the occupational therapy assistant and accordingto the state laws governing occupational therapy assistants.-Observes, records, and reports to the supervising OT, the nursesupervisor, and/or the physician the patient's response to treatment andchanges in the patient's condition.
