Summary: A Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) administers speech therapy to home care patients on an intermittent basis in their place of residence. This is performed in accordance with physician orders and plan of care under the direction and supervision of the Home Health Supervisor.
Education: A degree from a masters or doctorate program in speech language pathology Licensed to practice as a speech language pathologist in the State of Pennsylvania.
Experience: Appropriate experience as a speech language pathologist. Home Health experience preferred.
Required skills: Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team. Demonstrates good verbal and written communication and organization skills. Valid driver's license required and dependable transportation required.

-Have prior home health experience, referral intake, or relative work experience in the health care industry
-Have proven ability to interact effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization
-Have strong interpersonal skills
-Have ability to pass PA Child Abuse History Clearance
-Have ability to pass Criminal Background Check
-Have ability to meet physical requirements of position
-Be a team player
