Position Summary: The Physical Therapist Assistant provides physical therapy treatments under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. This role supports residents in achieving their mobility and recovery goals as part of an interdisciplinary care team. Key Responsibilities: Deliver therapy services in accordance with the treatment plan established by the Physical Therapist Monitor patient progress and communicate findings to the supervising therapist Accurately document daily treatments, patient responses, and progress using systems such as Casamba and PointClickCare Assist with discharge planning and family education regarding home exercises or mobility assistance Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and facility guidelines and policies Collaborate with nursing, therapy, and administrative teams to support quality resident care Qualifications: Associate's degree from an accredited PTA program Current PTA license in good standing in the State of California Skilled nursing or post-acute care experience preferred Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills Proficient with electronic medical records and therapy documentation platforms What We Offer: Competitive pay starting at $42/hour Comprehensive benefits package and 401(k) for full-time staff Supportive work environment and team culture Career development and continuing education opportunities Employee recognition and appreciation programs Make a difference every day at Linwood Meadows Care Center.
