Job Type Full-time Description Location: Monticello, Illinois Shift : Day shift Schedule : Full Time 4-10 hour days Anticipated start date : 10/1/2025 Job Summary: Main focus Pediatrics, Primary Responsible for evaluation, planning, directing, diagnosing and treating speech, language and swallowing disorders as prescribed by a licensed physician. Administers treatments as prescribed by a referring physician in efforts to restore function and prevent disability following injury or disease. Assists patients to reach their maximum performance and level of functioning, while learning to live within the limits of their capabilities. The staff therapist educates patients, staff, and family about speech disorders and causes, including disabilities and traumatic events. The SLP must be able to set realistic and achievable goals for their patients as appropriate for patient condition. Master's degree graduate of an approved and accredited school of Speech-language pathology. 3 or more years of previous experience in all aspects of speech therapy. Certifications appropriate to position and clinical setting. Current CPR certification.
