Substance Use Mental Health Therapist

JOB REQUIREMENTS: PSG/CIP is a multi-service community-based socialservices organization that fulfills its mission of helping individualsand families to achieve their greatest potential through dynamic,cost-effective, and innovative programming responsive to the needs ofdiverse communities. JOB SUMMARY: The position provides substance useand mental health treatment to clients in a clinic/outpatient setting,and the position includes both in-person and telehealth services. Thisposition conducts substance use assessments, and provides treatmentservices as needed. These services are delivered in individual, family,and group formats. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF OUR THERAPIST: Interview andevaluate consumers to complete the intake process. Complete substanceuse assessments for therapeutic needs. Provide individual, family andgroup substance counseling as needed. Exercise judgment to intervene asan advocate for clients in emergency and crisis situations whenappropriate. Be knowledgeable of all clients\' substance use treatmentneeds. Attend all necessary staff meetings with community team membersincluding Drug Treatment Court (DTC), Comprehensive Community Services(CCS), Probation and Parole, and make appropriate recommendations asrequested. Maintain state certification/licensure. LOCATION AND HOURS:Office located in Kenosha, WI with hybrid work from home opportunities.Hours are flexible and typical hours are Monday through Friday betweenthe 9:00 am and 6:00 pm. REQUIREMENTS: Must have reliabletransportation on a daily basis, a valid driver\'s license, andautomobile insurance. Education and Training: Must have Master\'s degreein Social Work, Psychology or other related field. Must possess aWisconsin LPC, LPC-IT, APSW, or LCSW and Substance Abuse Counselor (SACor SAC-IT) licensure or be eligible. Pre-licensed therapists are welcometo apply, and supervision is provided as part of the work environmentExperience: Previous experience working with AODA clients isrecommended.
