A contract position is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to support students in a dynamic educational environment located in Liberty, MO. This role is focused on addressing the communication needs of students at both the elementary and middle school levels, ensuring that each individual receives the guidance and support necessary for their development.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active or pending Missouri SLP license, with the ability to apply for one
- ASHA certification is a plus, though Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred but not required
- Strong understanding of IEPs, assessments, treatment planning, and documentation processes
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Location: Liberty, MO
Responsibilities:
- Assess and provide treatment for students with speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students on your caseload
- Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, progress, and treatment outcomes
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to support student needs
- Manage a caseload of 30-40 students across one elementary and one middle school
- Deliver guaranteed hours for both direct and indirect services
