Job Description

This contract position is designed to cover a maternity leave, extending from September to December, allowing you to provide vital support to students in need of speech and language services.
Location: Somerset, WI
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to determine students' speech and language needs.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students requiring therapy.
- Provide direct speech and language therapy in accordance with IEPs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' communication goals.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress and therapy outcomes.
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities as available.
Qualifications:
- Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC).
- Experience in pediatric speech therapy, particularly in school settings.
- Familiarity with teletherapy practices is a plus.
- Ability to develop and implement IEPs effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, staff, and families.
