Seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to provide vital services in a K-12 school setting located in Rockville, MD. This contract position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on students' communication skills within a supportive educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy to students with diverse communication needs, including articulation, fluency, voice, language, and social communication.
- Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine students' eligibility for speech-language services.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs).
- Monitor student progress and maintain documentation in accordance with state and federal guidelines.
- Work closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to foster student success in both academic and social contexts.
- Participate in IEP meetings and professional development activities to enhance your practice.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Maryland State Board license in Audiology, Hearing Aid Dispensers, and Speech-Language Pathologists (or eligibility).
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFYs) are encouraged to apply.
