The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students. The SLP will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to support students' communication skills in alignment with their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and academic goals.
Key Responsibilities: Assess and evaluate students with speech, language, and communication disorders.
Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on assessment data.
Provide direct and consultative speech and language therapy services.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other support staff to integrate therapy into the educational environment.
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of IEP goals.
Qualifications: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
Valid State license or eligibility for licensure in Speech-Language Pathology.
Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; CFY candidates considered.
State Department of Education certification (as required).
Previous experience in a school setting preferred but not required
Work Environment: School setting; may involve multiple school locations.
Requires sitting, standing, and light physical effort during sessions and school activities.
