Elementary Grades K - 5 Speech and Language Pathologist in Joliet, IL

Exciting opportunities are available for skilled Speech-Language Pathologists looking to make a meaningful impact in the lives of young students. This position encompasses three full-time openings within an elementary school setting, focusing on early childhood and elementary education for the 2025-2026 school year.

Qualifications:

• Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC)
• Experience in a school setting, particularly with early childhood and elementary students
• Proficient in developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other specialists
• Knowledge of various speech and language disorders and their treatment

Location:
Joliet, IL

Responsibilities:

• Assess and diagnose students' speech and language needs
• Develop and implement appropriate therapy plans for a manageable caseload of around 40 students
• Collaborate with general education and instructional classroom teachers to support student learning
• Provide case management services as needed
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and documentation in compliance with school policies
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to IEP development
