Location: 7301 Peak Drive (onsite)

Rate $18-19 hour

We’re currently seeking a Bilingual Patient Care Coordinator to join our call center team and help us deliver exceptional service with care, compassion, and professionalism.

Position Summary:
The Bilingual Patient Care Coordinator plays a vital role in our call center by providing exceptional patient-focused service. This position involves promptly answering incoming calls, scheduling appointments, verifying insurance and referrals, handling patient inquiries, and ensuring an efficient and empathetic experience for every caller. You will be an important link between patients, providers, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer a high volume of calls daily (60+), providing clear, courteous, and effective communication.
  • Schedule outpatient radiology appointments according to defined protocols.
  • Obtain and verify patient demographics, insurance eligibility, and required authorizations.
  • Manage incoming referrals, including STAT and expedited cases.
  • Triage patient needs and navigate them to the appropriate services or departments.
  • Conduct outbound follow-up calls as needed.
  • Resolve moderate to complex patient issues or escalate appropriately.
  • Collaborate with internal departments, referring providers, and support staff.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with company procedures.
  • Stay up to date with departmental protocols, safety procedures, and training materials.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • At least 1 year of call center experience required; healthcare setting preferred.
  • Minimum of 6 months of experience in a medical receptionist or front desk role.
  • Proficiency with computers, multi-line phone systems, and the ability to type at least 45 WPM.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology, ICD-10, CPT codes, and insurance guidelines.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish (required).
  • Demonstrated ability to remain calm, professional, and courteous in high-stress environments.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including late shifts and weekends.
  • Education or training in medical or business office procedures.
  • Prior experience in outpatient radiology scheduling or patient coordination.
