POSITION SUMMARY
  • Work with physicians, patients, families and interprofessional teams
  • Provide clinical services including assessment, intervention and consultation within out patient Physiotherapy/ CTC Physiotherapy, which could include patients with developmental, orthopedic, neurological, and rehabilitation needs.
  • Communicate all pertinent information with the healthcare team, school and community agencies in the most effective and efficient manner to plan, implement, and review the patients total care program
  • Participate in ongoing education and training and remain up to date on best practice
  • Collaborate with the outpatient Physiotherapy team to prioritize and manage workload
  • Participate in the supervision of students and support personnel and in teaching, and clinical research
  • Represent Physiotherapy on CHEO or external partner committees
  • Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Registration with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario (Essential)
  • Minimum of two years experience in paediatrics (Essential)
  • Minimum of two years experience with patients with orthopedics, developmental, neurological, and rehabilitation needs (Essential)

RESUME DES FONCTIONS
  • Travailler avec les medecins, les patients et leurs familles et avec les membres des equipes interprofessionnelles.

  • Superviser les etudiants et le personnel de soutien; enseigner et mener des recherches.

QUALIFICATIONS
