Position Summary:
Examine patients with breathing-related conditions and conduct diagnostic testing. Consults with physicians to develop and implement a treatment plan for the patient. Perform all necessary respiratory procedures using non-invasive methods, e.g. CPAP and BIPAP therapies. Assembles and disassembles, operates and maintains, troubleshoots, cleans, and sets ventilator parameters according to physician's orders and records response to treatments.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma ore equivalent
- Graduate of a program in Respiratory Therapy
- Accredited Bachelors degree preferred
- AZ Respiratory Care Practitioner License required
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) AHA required upon hire
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required upon hire
- 3 years of hospital respiratory therapy experience preferred
- CRT or RRT Credentials
