Speech Language Pathologist

Staff Relationships: This person is directly responsible to the Director of SSA and the Superintendent

Qualifications:

• Certificate of Clinical Competence preferred
• Master's Degree in Speech and Language Pathology from an accredited college or university preferred
• Valid Texas license as a Speech Language Pathologist granted by the State Board of Examiners for Speech Language Pathology and Audiology preferred

CONSIDERED

• Bachelor's Degree
• Valid Texas Teacher Certificate
• Speech Language Therapy Certificate

Special Knowledge and Skills:

• Knowledge of evaluation, habilitation, and rehabilitation of speech-language disorders and conditions.
• Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
• Plan and provide appropriate individual and group therapy to students with speech and language goals contained in IEPs

Terms of Employment:

• Salary in accordance with Redwater ISD Salary Schedule $52,628 - $73,864 dependent on years of experience.
• 187 day Contract
