Licensed Mental Health Counselor - (LMHC), PACE - Seattle, WA $5,000 Sign-On Bonus

**Providence is calling a Licensed Mental Health Counselor** **(PACE, Day Shift, Mon-Fri: 8a-4:30pm, No Nights, Weekends, Holidays or On-call, 1.0 FTE)** **to Providence ElderPlace in Seattle, Washington. **_This position is full-time from 8am-4:30pm Monday-Friday. The sites you'll cover/commute to will be Redmond, Kent, West Seattle, and Seattle on MLK Way._**

**In this position you will:**

+ Provide direct clinical mental health services through 1:1 counseling and therapeutic groups to participants onsite or in community care settings and residences

+ Collaborate with the IDT in the development of mental health treatment goals and services for care planning

+ Monitor participant adherence to mental health treatment plan of care

+ Identify any signs/symptoms of behavioral/emotional instability and communicate treatment recommendations to the Interdisciplinary Team

+ Handle unexpected events and possible crisis intervention flexibly and creatively

+ Assist mental health manager in collecting and analyzing mental health service data

**Required qualifications for this position include:**

+ Licensed psychologist, or Masters prepared and licensed mental health therapist

+ 5 years of experience working with individuals with chronic mental illness and/or behavioral disturbances due to moderate to advanced cognitive impairment in 1:1 and group settings

+ 3 years of experience working with frail or elderly populations

+ Current CPR certification

+ Personal transportation, valid Washington State drivers license, automobile insurance and ability to efficiently travel between sites as assigned (able to conduct site and home visits as assigned)

**Preferred qualifications for this position include:**

+ Experience working with geriatric populations

+ Experience working with individuals with chronic mental illness and behavioral disturbances in community settings

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
