**Occupational Therapist Job Description:**
The candidate must be licensed in the State of Washington and have the ability to assess and treat patients with a range of complexities. The OT plans and provides occupational therapy program for treatment of patients in a home care setting, including but not limited to, restorative care and patient training for activities of daily living.
**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Coordinates occupational therapy activities in collaboration with members of the interdisciplinary team
- Evaluates and treats the patient using evidence-based techniques.
- Plans an individualized occupational therapy program with a variety of sensorimotor, educational, treatments based on the individual's physical capacity, intelligence level, and interests/goals.
- Utilizes safe patient handling techniques for all patient transfers, lifts and positioning.
- Recommends and train patient and caregivers on adaptive equipment
- Provides instruction on fall prevention and pain management
**Qualifications**
- Licensed Occupational Therapist
- BLS certification
- Willingness to learn and be a team-player
