ND State Hospital - Jamestown, ND - Rehabilitation Manager
Ensure efficient workflow and delivery of high-quality patient care as a Rehabilitation Manager for the ND State Hospital.
As a Rehabilitation Manager, you develop and implement therapeutic programs, manage a multidisciplinary team, and oversee budgetary responsibilities to ensure the effective use of resources while enhancing patient recovery outcomes. In this leadership role, you will supervise a team of mental health professionals, including psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, and social workers, fostering a collaborative environment that promotes professional growth and teamwork. You will also manage the department's budget, monitor financial performance, and ensure efficient allocation of resources.
Additionally, you will work with your team to develop and assess rehabilitation programs tailored to meet the diverse needs of patients. You will ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, implement quality improvement initiatives and collaborate with community partners to support patient's post-discharge.
To thrive in this position, you must have a patient-centered approach, focusing on dignity, respect and recovery goals. You must have strong skills in budget management and financial oversight.
To be considered for the Rehabilitation Manager position, you must have a master's degree in Occupational Therapy, Recreation Therapy, Psychology, or a related field, along with a current clinical license or certification relevant to rehabilitation services (e.g., OTR/L, CTRS); AND a minimum of five (5) years of experience in a psychiatric or mental health setting is required, with at least three (3) years in a supervisory or managerial role.

The North Dakota State Hospital (NDSH), located in Jamestown, is a specialized psychiatric hospital that serves the whole state. Services focus on psychiatric rehabilitation, residential substance use disorders treatment, and residential treatment for sexually dangerous individuals.
