Licensed Massage Therapist

Licensed Massage Therapist (Per Diem) Location: VIBE Day Spa, Basking Ridge, NJ VIBE Day Spa is an upscale day spa offering a full menu of massage treatments. We are looking for a motivated bodywork therapist specializing in deep tissue, assisted stretching, and myofascial release for sports conditioning and recovery. We are seeking individuals with exceptional interpersonal skills who have a passion for all dimensions of wellness and are dedicated to effectively providing wellness solutions to meet the needs of our guests. *Duties and Responsibilities:* * Administer all scheduled massage treatments. * Provide consistent professional massage treatments in accordance with spa protocols and accepted certification practices. * Assess clients' needs and create customized treatment plans. * Provide exceptional client service and ensure a comfortable and relaxing environment. * Actively listen to clients during sessions and adjust technique/pressure to meet their needs. * Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records. * Maintain a consistent client base. * Be punctual for shifts, prompt with each appointment, and perform services within the appropriate time allotted. * Stay informed about current trends and advancements in massage therapy. * Perform prep work, properly clean, and restock rooms as required. * Communicate any occurrences in the spa that require management's attention. * Actively promote the spa, its services, retail products, and available programs, promotions, and/or discounts. * Uphold and promote the VIBE Day Spa brand, mission, and values. *Position Requirements:* * Must hold and maintain a current NJ state license. * 2+ years of experience as a professional Massage Therapist. * Experience working in a spa or therapy center environment preferred. * Proficient in medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology. * Strong knowledge of various massage techniques and their applications. * Enthusiastic with excellent customer service skills. * Friendly and outgoing personality with a passion for working with people. * Excellent communication and listening skills, as well as basic computer knowledge. * Ability to perform massage services during a 20-minute massage demonstration. * Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and Saturdays. * Ability to perform massages on diverse clients.
