Speech Language Pathologist - 13 Week Contract *Location:* Morris, MN *Company:* Big Stone Staffing Big Stone Staffing travelers have the opportunity to work in multiple settings including long term care, skilled nursing, assisted living, inpatient, outpatient, and home health. We offer 13-week travel contracts and provide assistance to find housing, navigating licensure for each state, and being the liaison between you and the facility. We look forward to finding the right opportunity for you in your life. *Overview: * * Setting: School * Total Pay Package: Starting at $1800 per week * Guarantee: 40-hour weekly guarantee * Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm - No weekends, holidays or call * Start Date: 11/1/2024 * Length: 13 weeks *Responsibilities: * * Assessing, diagnosing and treating communication disorders such as speech, fluency, language, voice and swallowing disorders * Developing, planning and implementing a personalized treatment plan to address patient concerns * Working with an interdisciplinary team to provide patient care * Educating and counseling patients and families on communication and swallowing disorders * Keeping up to date on new techniques and trends in the field of speech language pathology and communication disorders * Performing administrative tasks such as keeping records, writing reports and making telephone calls * Authenticating, preparing, and submitting of documentation, ensuring confidentiality of all records, per HIPAA guidelines *Qualifications: * * Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology * Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure * Valid driver's license * CPR Certification * ASHA Certification (preferred) * Must be able to pass a background check * Strong interpersonal and communication skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. *Benefits: * * Health, Dental, Life, Short-Term Disability, and Vision insurance options * 401k with employer contribution * 6 paid holidays Extensive Professional Development program including: * Unlimited CE courses through MedBridge * Residency programs through Evidence in Motion with employer contribution * Financial assistance for specialty certifications * Mentorship program to support you no matter where you are Why Work with Us?
