Physical Therapist Assistant

## Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will assist physical therapists in providing physical therapy treatments and procedures under the direction of a licensed physical therapist for orthopedic and neuro based population. This role also involves working referring providers and building relationships within the community. ## Responsibilities - Assist in implementing treatment plans as directed by the physical therapist - Provide therapeutic exercises and manual therapy techniques to patients - Monitor and document patient progress during treatment sessions - Instruct patients on proper use of equipment and exercises - Collaborate with the physical therapy team to ensure effective patient care - Maintain a clean and organized work environment ## Experience - Experience in orthopedic and/or neuro outpatient/clinic setting is preferred - Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology - Strong patient care skills with a focus on delivering high-quality care This position offers an excellent opportunity for a Physical Therapist Assistant looking to contribute to patient well-being in a dynamic healthcare setting. ## Qualifications - Current state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant *required* - Certified BLS or completion in first 90 days of employment Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $28.00 per hour Benefits: * 401(k) * Dental insurance * Flexible schedule * Health insurance * Health savings account * Life insurance * Paid time off * Vision insurance Schedule: * Day shift * Monday to Friday * No weekends Experience: * Physical therapy: 1 year (Preferred) License/Certification: * Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (Required) * CPR Certification (Preferred) Willingness to travel: * 50% (Required) Work Location: In person
