Traveling Audiologist

Job Overview* Join our team! We have an excellent full-time opportunity for a Licensed Traveling Audiologist for a fast-paced, multi-location practice. This is a full-time position and support for all of our offices. Established in 1969, Austin ENT Clinic is one of the leading Ear, Nose and Throat clinics in the nation. Our physicians specialize in otolaryngologic care for pediatric and adult patients at locations across the greater Austin area. Our practice features state-of-the-art care for ear, nose, and throat problems, hearing loss, environmental allergies, sinus, and head and neck surgery. We offer a variety of highly specialized procedures that utilize the latest medical technology. As a traveling Audiologist you will provide a full range of audiological services for all our locations. The role involves administering and evaluating various audiological tests, counseling patients and families, and ensuring the efficient coordination of schedules and assignments. *Responsibilities* *-Travel between locations and assist *patients where needed - Conduct diagnostic evaluations to assess patients' hearing and balance issues - Develop and implement individualized treatment plans - Provide hearing aid fittings, adjustments, and maintenance - Educate patients on hearing conservation and rehabilitation strategies - Collaborate with our physicians to ensure comprehensive patient care - Maintain accurate patient records using computerized systems *Requirements* - Proficiency in medical terminology related to audiology - Ability to perform diagnostic evaluations using aseptic techniques - Strong organizational skills to manage patient caseload effectively - Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus - Excellent communication skills to interact with patients and colleagues - Leadership qualities to guide support staff and assist in sales of hearing aids Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: * 401(k) * 401(k) matching * Employee discount * Flexible schedule * Flexible spending account * Health insurance * Health savings account * Life insurance * Paid time off Medical Specialty: * Otolaryngology Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Day shift * Monday to Friday * No weekends Supplemental Pay: * Commission pay Ability to Commute: * Austin, TX (Preferred) Ability to Relocate: * Austin, TX: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
