Speech Language Pathologist Qualifications: Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program Licensed as a Speech Language Pathologist in the State of Nebraska. BLS certification within 30 days of employment One year of experience preferred Speech Language Pathologist Key Responsibilities: Provides screening, evaluation, and therapeutic intervention for patients referred by physicians or appropriate sources. Administer and score standardized test procedures to assist in evaluation of patient communicative skills. Interpretation and written reports are required following assessment including patient education and input related to test results and recommendations. Develop a treatment plan and implementation per doctor is documented and progress notes after each patient contact is required. Contact with a physician is necessary to provide information on patient status. Excellent interpersonal skills with all ages and socio-economic status.
