We seek an enthusiastic, detail-oriented Speech Language Pathologist to aid in the rehabilitation of our patients. The successful candidate will have a strong background in home health and experience working with patients of all ages. This position will support the growing community we serve through providing medical services, various screenings and assistance with patient care. Responsibilities: * Work collaboratively with patients and their caregivers to develop an intervention plan for communication, swallowing, and/or cognitive-communication disorders. * Provide in-home services to adults with speech, language, and hearing disorders. * Train patients in communication compensatory strategies to enhance their ability to communicate. * Refer patients to professionals who can modify the home environment to facilitate communication. * Provide consultative services to private practitioners who are treating patients with communication disorders. * Educate families about the nature of communication disorders. * Work with individuals of any age who have a range of complex communication needs.
