Estrella Health and Rehabilitation Center is looking for the right *Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant* to join our AMAZING therapy team! We aren't kidding the therapy culture ROCKS! As C.O.T.A You will be responsible for assisting patients during their rehabilitation and long term stay. The right candidate will demonstrate ownership and passion for learning. Come be a part of our success and share your talents with the team. * Must be a C.O.T.A. * Preferably have at least 1 year experience in Occupational Therapy. * New grads Welcome. * Must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. * Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain good work ethic. *Responsibilities:* * Assist patients with all aspects of their injury and rehabilitation. * Assist in the implementation of occupational therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist. * Provide direct patient care, including therapeutic exercises, activities, and interventions. * Document patient progress and maintain accurate medical records. * Collaborate with the occupational therapist to develop and modify treatment plans based on patient needs. * Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques and home exercise programs. * Monitor and report any changes in patient condition to the occupational therapist. * Maintain a clean and organized therapy area. *Qualifications:* * Associate's degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program. * Valid certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA). * Occupational health experience is preferred. * Knowledge of medical imaging, anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology. * Experience working with geriatrics is a plus. * Ability to work in acute care settings and adapt to different patient populations. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
