Work with a community of people that are supportive and loving.:**Hope Health**is looking for a compassionate and skilled**Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)**to join our early intervention team under the**Early Steps**program. This position involves supporting children ages 0-3 in natural environments such as their homes or daycare centers, helping them achieve developmental milestones through routines-based, family-centered occupational therapy services.### **Key Responsibilities:**- Provide occupational therapy support services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT)- Carry out therapy activities that promote fine motor skills, sensory integration, self-help skills, and overall developmental progress- Assist in the implementation of goals and interventions outlined in the Individualized Family Support Plan (IFSP)- Support caregivers with strategies and techniques that promote engagement in daily routines- Document session notes and progress in compliance with Early Steps standards- Communicate consistently with the supervising OT and interdisciplinary team- Follow Florida Early Steps guidelines and uphold professional and ethical standards for OTAs### **Qualifications:**- Current**Florida licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)**- Graduation from an accredited OTA program- Minimum**6 months of experience**working with pediatric populations (birth to 5 preferred)- Reliable transportation and ability to travel for home/community-based visits- Excellent communication, time management, and teamwork skills### **Preferred:**- Bilingual (Spanish/English or other languages)- Experience with early intervention or natural-environment therapy models**This position is available part-time or full-time**, offering flexible scheduling and a unique opportunity to support families during critical early stages of development.
