Job Description Summary ***6K Sign On Bonus*** Administers and performs all forms, routine, non- critical, critical and emergency Pulmonary Medicine care with in the scope and function of Pulmonary Medicine in all areas of the hospital. Job Description QUALIFICATIONS: Required: 1. Graduate of an American Medical Association approved Respiratory Therapy Program. 2. Regestered Respiratory Therapist by the National Board of Respiratory Care. 3. Current Alabama License. 4. Must be willing to be " on call" as required. 5. Must have BCLS within 6 months of employment date. 6. Must have ACLS within 6 months of employment date. 7. It is required that you have a personal phone number or beeper that you can be reached at 24 hours a day. Preferred: 1. Previous Critical care experience. LANGUAGE/ COMMUNICATION SKILLS: Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal forms. Ability to communicate effectively in an emergency situation. SKILLS: Annual completion of competency requirements Basic typing and computer skills. Experience in operating personal computers in a Windows environment (Preferred). Sufficient experience as a Respiratory Therapist to be qualified to work in a setting without assistance.
