Certified Hand Therapist - Occupational or Physical Therapist Location: Grand Junction, CO Setting: Outpatient (Western Orthopedics and Sports Medicine, Community Hospital) Schedule: Full-Time, Day Shift Pay: $3,650/week About the Role: Join Community Hospital's renowned Western Orthopedics and Sports Medicine team as a Certified Hand Therapist. This outpatient position is focused on comprehensive hand and upper extremity rehabilitation for patients of all ages. In this full-time, on-site role, you'll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and make a measurable impact on patient recovery and function. What You'll Do: Evaluate and assess outpatient hand therapy patients, creating individualized plans of care. Implement therapeutic interventions and continually reassess progress, adjusting treatments to ensure goal achievement. Deliver patient and caregiver education to enhance engagement, understanding, and outcomes. Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant documentation according to professional and regulatory standards. Collect, analyze, and report outcome measures to monitor progress and treatment efficacy. Collaborate with physicians, staff, and leadership to ensure optimal patient care. Demonstrate fiscal responsibility by considering cost, staffing, billing, and coding requirements. Participate in ongoing program improvement and uphold the organization's commitment to diversity and inclusion. Requirements: Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited Occupational Therapy or Physical Therapy program. Active, unrestricted Colorado OT or PT license. Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) credential from the Hand Therapy Certification Commission. Current BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support) certification.
