AOA Physical Therapist, PRN

Note: This is a PRN position.

DIMENSIONS/SCOPE OF POSITION: Evaluates and treats patients while delegating appropriate patient care tasks to support staff

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Evaluates and treats patients in a safe manner
  • Completes daily billing and documentation for each patient
  • Completes timely reassessments on each patient
  • Develops an appropriate home exercise program for each patient
  • Completes required continuing education to maintain state license
  • Regular and predictable attendance
  • Ability to work in a cooperative manner with others
  • Performs other duties as assigned

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Not applicable.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and/or Experience: Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy ; . State Licensure required in TN or VA; Previous experience in the outpatient setting preferred.

Language Skills: Able to communicate effectively in the English language.

Mathematical Skills: Basic arithmetic skills are required.

Reasoning Ability: Identifies and resolves problems promptly.

Computer Skills: Must be computer literate. Basic computer skills required.

Certificates, Licenses: Must be licensed as a physical therapist in the state of Tennessee or Virginia, depending on the assigned work location

Other Skills and Abilities: Able to listen and respond well to questions and feedback.
