Speech-Language Pathologist in Lexington Park, MD

Qualifications:

• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
• Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
• Experience working with K-12 students, particularly from elementary to high school
• Strong assessment and diagnostic skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and other professionals

Responsibilities:

• Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for students with speech and language disorders
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with educational staff
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and interventions
• Deliver services in a hybrid model, with a minimum of three days on-site
• Engage students through effective therapy techniques tailored to their needs
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student development
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and professional development opportunities
