Job Summary

In a clinical setting, performs a variety of patient service, administrative duties and general office work. Responsible for the efficient flow of escorts, correspondence and other materials; receiving and directing visitors, and maintaining the physical environment. Job specific responsibilities: - Performs patient service, administrative duties and general office work. - Responsible for the efficient flow of escorts, correspondence and other materials; - Maintains the physical environment. - Follows HIPAA Guidelines for the management of patient privacy and confidentiality - Performs an participates in special projects as directed - Answers General Questions - Greets/Directs Patients - Answers Phones/Performs Reception Responsibilities - Duties may include; Maintains/Purges Files, Photocopying, sorts and Distributes Mail and Retrieves Medical Records - Performs Light Typing/Data Entry

Qualifications

Requires: - 1+ years of office experience, preferably in a clinical setting. - Basic knowledge of medical terminology. - High School Diploma / G.E.D. Formal Secretarial training preferred
