Per Diem Physical Therapist

Evaluate patients' medical history and perform physical examinations to determine the best course of treatment - Develop personalized treatment plans based on patients' needs and goals - Administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and other interventions to improve patients' mobility, strength, and overall function - Educate patients and their families on proper techniques for exercises and activities to promote recovery and prevent further injury - Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary - Document patient evaluations, progress notes, and treatment outcomes in accordance with professional standards and facility policies - Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists, to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for patients Skills: - Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology - Proficiency in various physical therapy techniques, including trigger point therapy - Experience in acute care settings and working with pediatric patients is preferred - Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members - Ability to assess patient needs and develop appropriate treatment plans - Strong problem-solving skills to address challenges in patient care - Empathy and compassion to provide emotional support to patients during their rehabilitation journey Note: This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position.
