Assessing the home and work environments of clients and deciding what adjustments are needed. Qualifications for an Occupational Therapist: Bachelor's Degree or above in Occupational Therapy required. Licensed in Occupational Therapy in the state of practice (if required by state law) Certified or registered by the NCBOT (if position works in NC) One (1+) or more years of clinical experience preferred.
