Occupational Therapist OTR/L

We are hiring an OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST for our Dream Team in Huntington Beach, CA! Our multi-disciplinary team works with children from 16 months to 3 years old. We are a private agency known for quality work. *Responsibilities:* * Promote independence in activities of daily living (such as dressing and feeding) through implementation of the occupational therapy treatment plan. * Conduct formal individual and team assessments. * Interpret and summarize assessment results and create accurate reports. * Demonstrate evidenced-based clinical reasoning skills to accurately create relevant treatment plans that promote efficient client progress. * Collaborate with colleagues for efficient treatment planning and implementation of client programs. * Accurately and quickly re-evaluate a client's needs to determine the extent to which goals and objectives have been met. * Collect and maintain relevant data on client goals and progress. * Maintain efficient and clear documentation of all client sessions and complete all other related forms and documentation (such as updating client treatment plans in an electronic system). * Use effective communication skills for working with the Love 2 Learn team, clients, families, and other professionals. * Discuss and exchange information about the client's goals and progress with the occupational therapy assistant(s). *What Makes Love 2 Learn Special?* * Staff Love Working Here! Collaborate with an array of seasoned clinicians across disciplines (BCBA, ST, OT) *Required Education and Experience:* * Degree from an accredited occupational therapy program. * Must maintain a current California Occupational Therapy license (OT/L). * Holds an occupational therapy certification from NBCOT. * Current TB test. *Preferred Education and Experience:* * Three years' experience in pediatric Occupational Therapy practice * Experience in Early Intervention * Training in Sensory Processing Disorders * Training in oral motor development & sensorimotor-based feeding delays * Proficiency with parent coaching/training *Hours:* Part-time or full-time. Hours can vary based on availability and staffing needs.
