We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Physical Therapist to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to achieve optimal outcomes. This role offers the opportunity to work in an outpatient orthopedic clinic within the larger Vermont Sun gym within a multidisciplinary team of an Athletic Trainer and Physical Therapist Assistant. \*\*Duties:\*\* - Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address the unique needs of each patient, utilizing a comprehensive understanding of anatomy and physiology. - Conduct thorough patient assessments to identify areas of improvement and develop strategies for rehabilitation. - Utilize a variety of treatment modalities, including exercise therapy, manual therapy, aquatic therapy, and modalities such as heat, cold, and electrical stimulation. - Work closely with patients to educate them on proper techniques and exercises, promoting independence and self-care. - Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure seamless care coordination. - Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient progress and treatment plans using the NetHealth Casamba EMR. - Stay current with advances in physical therapy techniques and best practices. \*\*Qualifications:\*\* - A PT degree from an accredited program. - A current license or pursuing a license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Vermont. - A passion for orthopedic rehabilitation. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Commitment to providing exceptional patient care and promoting health and wellness.
