Occupational Therapy Assistant

MedAdventures *is looking for a skilled and *Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant* to join one of our largest Skilled Nursing Facility partners in the Farmville, VA area! *Compensation and Schedule:* * Target Pay Range $40-45/HR W2 * Comprehensive benefits options * Flexible Schedule is M-F Day Shift *Qualification/Responsibilities:* * Must possess an Associate's Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college or university. * A current and valid license granted from the state of employment/OT/SLP and nursing assistants. * Screens/evaluate all residents to determine the need for Occupational Therapy * Establishes an individualized treatment program with a consultation to facility staff in areas of *Occupational Therapy* * Provides results of the evaluation and treatment objectives to caregivers, family members, and residents * Completes all documentation as required by the fiscal intermediary, within the designated time frame * Implements the treatment program based on evaluative results * Monitors the resident's response to treatment and alters the treatment plan as appropriate * Instructs resident's families and or nursing staff in functional maintenance programs *Keywords:* Occupational Therapy, Occupational Therapy Assistant, COTA, OTA, Skilled Nursing, Nursing Facility, rehabilitation Job Types: Full-time, Contract Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: * 401(k) * 401(k) matching * Dental insurance * Flexible schedule * Health insurance * Life insurance * Paid time off * Referral program * Vision insurance Medical Specialty: * Geriatrics * Physical & Rehabilitation Medicine Schedule: * Day shift * Monday to Friday * No weekends License/Certification: * Occupational Therapy Assistant License (Preferred) * COTA (Preferred) Ability to Commute: * Farmville, VA (Required) Ability to Relocate: * Farmville, VA: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
