Physical Therapist Assistant

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team in a dynamic healthcare setting. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care while collaborating with our multidisciplinary team to promote optimal health outcomes. This role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population in an outpatient clinic and hospital setting. Responsibilities: - Collects assessment data as part of evaluation process as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist (when allowed by state practice act) -Teaches exercises to residents, family members, and caregivers and may provide instruction in the use and care for orthotic, prosthetic devices, and other assisting apparatus. - Provides direct treatment to residents as directed by and according to the plan of care outlined by the supervising Physical Therapist. -Completes required forms and documents in accordance with company policy and state and/or federal regulations. Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent required. - Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assistant Studies or related field preferred. - Completion of a Physical Therapist Assistant program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA). - Current Physical Therapist Assistant license in the state where the position is located. - Strong understanding of medical terminology and physiology knowledge. - Experience in occupational health or geriatrics is a plus. - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records. - Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuing education.
