Position Overview
We are looking for a licensed PTA to assist our Physical Therapists in providing high-quality rehabilitation care. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, a passion for patient recovery, and a team-oriented mindset.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans designed by the Physical Therapist.
Guide patients through therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and functional mobility training.
Monitor and document patient progress, responses to treatment, and any changes in condition.
Educate patients and families on continued care, injury prevention, and home exercise programs.
Maintain a clean, safe, and supportive therapy environment.
Collaborate with Physical Therapists and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Qualifications
Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
Active PTA license in Florida.
CPR certification (preferred).
Experience in outpatient, orthopedic, or sports rehabilitation settings is a plus.
Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
A passion for helping patients regain function and achieve their goals.
