Occupational Therapist - Outpatient Competitive Wages, $35.78-$50.51 per hour South Minneapolis, MN Position Summary The Occupational Therapist position directs the assessment, treatment, planning and implementation of therapy services to patients of all ages, utilizing current knowledge, theory, evidence and sound clinical judgment. Works closely with the patient, family and other members of an interdisciplinary team to provide efficient and effective individualized patient care. Serves as an educator and mentor of therapy students, peers and other medical professionals. Assist with department and program planning. Key Responsibilities: Evaluates patients effectively and creates functional goals and treatment plans tailored to their age. Facilitates timely discharge planning by assessing equipment needs, identifying relevant community resources, and completing home programs and discharge summaries. Designs and implements treatment interventions in line with current therapy practices. Delegates and supervises the established care plan, ensuring support personnel are appropriately guided. Works with interdisciplinary team members to discuss patient progress, treatment responses, goals, and any necessary adjustments to the program. Shares relevant therapy information during patient care conferences and team meetings. This version aims to streamline the content while preserving the key responsibilities. Qualifications: Licensed by the Minnesota Board of Occupational Therapy Practice Current American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers Certification (or obtained within six months of hire, company paid) Advanced experience/Lymphedema Certification preferred Hand Therapy experience, certification not required Neurological experience preferred Schedule: 80hrs/2wks Clinic: Weekdays, with shift start and end time between 7:30am and 6:00pm, schedule determined upon hire.
