Body Therapy Wellness & Aesthetics Inc is an established Physical Therapy Personal Injury facility with is focused on balancing both the mind and the body and maximizing the patient's well being. We are located in Bradenton, FL. We are a comprehensive professional group which includes Board certified doctors, nurses, physical therapist, physical therapist assistant, chiropractor, medical assistants, and aestheticians. We are expanding our location and services and are looking to add additional help to our practice.

Our goal is to To provide Rehabilitation services to the local community with convenient hours . We strive to maximize the patient's recovery to meet their clinical goal. Our facility has the state of the art rehab equipment to improve Patient recovery.

Responsibilities:

A Physical Therapy Assistant supports the Doctor of Physical Therapist in helping patients who are recovering from injuries manage pain and regain their mobility. Their main duties include preparing therapy equipment for appointments, massaging and stretching patients' muscles and sanitizing therapy areas.

Physical Therapy Assistants work closely with Physical Therapists and other PTAs to provide rehabilitative care to patients. In most physical therapy clinics, the duties and responsibilities of a Physical Therapy Assistant may include the following:

Counsel patients and their families on what to do following treatment.Observe the patients they are working with before, during and after therapy and report notes to the Physical Therapist.Assign specific exercises for the patient and help the patients do these exercises.Use devices, such as walkers, and other equipment to help patients regain movement and reduce pain.Use a variety of techniques, including stretching exercises and massage, to treat patients.

_ BILINGUAL is preferred but not required

- Stay up-to-date with current research and best practices in physical therapy

Please note that this position requires a valid PTA Certificate and Licensed in the State of Florida and will work under a Licensed Physical Therapist
