+ Local (within 50 miles): $55$60/hour
+ Travel (outside 50 miles): $25$30/hour + $1,246 weekly stipend
+ Estimated Weekly Pay: Up to $2,200/week
Position Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated OccupationalTherapist to support the educational and developmental needs of studentswith disabilities in Beloit, WI. This role is essential in helpingstudents actively participate in self-care, academic, vocational, and leisureactivities within school environments. The ideal candidate will workcollaboratively with educators, families, and service providers to promotestudent independence and success.
Key Responsibilities
+ Evaluate students to determine eligibility and need for occupational therapy services.
+ Develop individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals and objectives.
+ Participate in IEP meetings to support student success in the least restrictive environment.
+ Provide direct and consultative therapy services.
+ Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school teams to support student development.
+ Document progress, prepare reports, and ensure compliance with IDEA and DPI standards.
+ Offer feedback to students and families; attend conferences and open houses.
+ Provide training and resources to staff and families.
+ Maintain and manage therapy equipment and treatment areas.
+ Attend staff meetings and professional development activities.
+ Advocate for students across educational and community settings.
Qualifications
+ Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
+ Wisconsin DPI Certification in Occupational Therapy (Code 812) or eligibility to obtain.
+ Wisconsin State Licensure as an Occupational Therapist (Code 26).
+ Preferred: Experience in school-based therapy.
+ Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
+ Commitment to ongoing professional development.
+ Knowledge of special education laws and best practices in school-based OT.
+ Must have reliable transportation, a valid drivers license, and the ability to travel between school sites.
