Local Contract Respiratory Therapist - $51-53 per hour

Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Respiratory Therapist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Local Contract WCS Healthcare is urgently seeking a Respiratory Therapist for a state of the art health care system in Neptune, NJ Job Function : Night Shift. 3x12: 7pm - 7:30am. Reviews patient records, including admission details, current respiratory care orders, medical history, physical exam findings, PFT values, ABG results, and lab data. Sets up and maintains respiratory equipment as directed; attends departmental meetings and in-services as required. Performs patient assessments to monitor the effects of therapy and documents findings in the patient chart. Carries out prescribed therapeutic procedures to maintain adequate oxygenation and airway patency, including humidification. Obtains and analyzes arterial blood gases (ABGs) as ordered and in accordance with policy. Job Requirements : 2 years of clinical experience. Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license Registered with the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC). Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required.
