Dedicated Special Education Professional Needed for Virtual Role

We are seeking an experienced special education teacher to provide comprehensive case management and instructional services through our remote learning platform. This position offers the opportunity to support students with diverse needs while working from the comfort of your home office with flexible scheduling options.

Position Specifications

Full-time position requiring 37.5 hours weekly, managing a caseload of 40-50 students in grades K-12. The role combines direct virtual instruction with extensive case management responsibilities, ensuring students receive appropriate services and supports according to their individualized education programs.

Fundamental Duties

- Implement specialized teaching strategies through virtual delivery platforms

- Conduct comprehensive IEP development, implementation, and monitoring

- Coordinate services among multiple providers and maintain team communication

- Provide consultation to general education teachers regarding accommodations and modifications

- Develop transition plans and coordinate post-secondary preparation activities

- Maintain detailed records and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations

Student Population Served

Your caseload will encompass students with varying disability categories including autism spectrum disorders, intellectual disabilities, specific learning disabilities, and emotional disturbances. Experience serving students with complex needs and multiple disabilities is particularly valuable. You'll work with students requiring different levels of support intensity.

Minimum Qualifications

- Master's degree in Special Education, Education, or related field with special education emphasis

- Active New Hampshire special education teaching certification

- At least 2 years of special education classroom or case management experience

- Competency with virtual learning technologies and communication platforms

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

- Reliable technology infrastructure for remote work

Desired Experience

Background in transition services, assistive technology, and behavior intervention planning. Experience working with diverse populations and multilingual families preferred.
